The Power & Energy Society (PES) provides the world's largest forum for sharing the latest in technological developments in the electric power industry, for developing standards that guide the development and construction of equipment and systems, and for educating members of the industry and the general public. It is an organisation of IEEE members whose principal interest is the advancement of the science and practice of electric power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilisation. All members of the IEEE are eligible for membership in the society.

IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of GECI has started it's activities on 10th August, 2020, under the guidance of Dr.Binoj Kumar AC and a well organized executive committee team. IEEE PES SBC GECI is the 34th SBC of PES Kerala Chapter. We conducted a number of technical and non-technical events till the date. Our motive is to bring up interested students towards the power and energy field. The SBC activities are still moving on with the support of active members and by maintaining a good team spirit.
